Seeking a Skilled Pianist for Eurythmy Sessions
The role involves providing piano accompaniment for Eurythmy sessions across various year levels, working collaboratively with the Eurythmy teacher to support the artistic aims of each lesson and adjusting tempo, dynamics and phrasing responsively in alignment with student movement.
* Provide musical support for Eurythmy classes.
* Work closely with the Eurythmy teacher to ensure a cohesive and engaging learning experience.
* Respond to the needs of the students and adjust the music accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have strong piano skills and experience accompanying movement, performance or group work. Ability to improvise, adjust tempo and follow artistic cues is essential. Knowledge of the Steiner philosophy or willingness to learn is also desirable. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset are necessary for this role. A Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required or the ability to obtain one.
