We are currently seeking an experienced construction manager to join our Perth team on a permanent full-time basis.

**About the role**:
Keller Australia are currently seeking an experienced construction manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This role will be based in Perth however the successful applicant will be required to travel to various project sites across Western Australia and nationally as required.
The construction manager is responsible for ensuring the construction related aspects of all Keller's projects are managed and completed in a manner that is safe within time, quality and budget objectives and consistent with the Keller manuals and policies.
The construction manager will also establish, maintain, and promote professional and harmonious client relationships to assist with project delivery whilst providing leadership and management to project engineers and project managers.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Ensure the construction related aspects of the project meet or exceed the required performance targets in relation to time, quality and profit margin and drive ongoing efficiency improvements in operations.
- Management of project engineers and project managers during the full employment cycle including performance management.
- Identify and forecast risks and opportunities for the projects with the support of project managers and provide awareness of budget spending
- Review project construction programs and provide advice and guidance on a range of piling and heavy foundation products
- Understand the contractual conditions, the performance specification and soil/site conditions before commencing site operations and drive ongoing efficiency in operations
- Assist in resolution of any technical problems encountered during the execution of contract works and provide technical support and construction advice and knowledge as applicable
- Contract management and a thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions and helps manage any developments of a contractual nature with the Commercial Manager and Project Manager
- Oversee and ensure projects are adequately resourced, while identifying future plant and equipment requirements
- Review construction details during design development, identifying unworkable situations and proposes alternate solutions
- Management of onsite industrial relations matters
- Encourage, motivate, and provide leadership and training to personnel to develop their abilities

**About you**:
**To be successful in this position you will have**:
- University degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- At least 10 years' experience in the industry
- Management / Project Management qualifications are desirable
- Strong leadership skills to lead and coordinate a team
- Ability to identify, supervise, develop and mentor engineers
- Sound communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Detailed knowledge of soil mechanics and soil improvement systems and design standards and codes
- Sound understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of projects
- Well-developed project management skills
- Willing and able to travel across Western Australia and nationally if required
