Your Role
You will learn on the job and study to gain your Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and an A Class Electrical Licence upon successful completion. Key activities include:
1. Conducting preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities on equipment.
2. Learning how to test, fault find, alter, and repair electrical equipment, including electrical wiring work.
3. Interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers' specifications.
4. Completing risk assessments and identifying underperforming plant equipment for further analysis.
