**About the Role**
As the DMSS National Engineering Manager, you will be responsible to the DMSS Contract Director for ensuring that Engineering and Repair and Maintenance activity comply with the obligations under the DMSS Contract, company objectives and statutory requirements. In this role, you will lead the engineering and maintenance function across the DMSS contract and provide appropriate support and guidance to meet contract requirements, ensure the quality of engineering services, prepare business forecasts and budgets, identify continuous improvement, and cost saving opportunities and maintain relevant competencies.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Experience in asset design, repair, and maintenance in an operational environment in organisations
- Prior project and contract management experience
- Proficiency in the use and implementation of computerised maintenance management systems
- Ability to deal with multiple suppliers and subcontractors
- Experience in engineering management in a Defence or Maritime organisation
