Full Time | Strategic HR Leadership Role | Australia, New Zealand & USA Operations

As a proudly Australian-owned business with expanding operations across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, we are entering an exciting phase of growth and transformation.

We are seeking a highly capable, commercially minded, and people-focused HR Business Partner to join our leadership team on the Gold Coast. This role will be instrumental in partnering with leaders across the business to build high-performing teams, strengthen culture, improve capability, and support our ongoing international expansion.

This is not a transactional HR role; we are looking for someone who can operate strategically while still being hands-on and deeply connected to the business.

Key Responsibilities
* Partner with executive leaders and Heads of Departments to align people strategies with business objectives
* Provide strategic HR guidance and coaching to leaders across all business units
* Support organisational growth, restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning initiatives
* Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, culture, retention, and performance
* Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide people and culture strategies
Employee Relations & Performance Management
* Lead and manage employee relations matters across Australia, New Zealand, and the USA
* Provide advice on performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution
* Develop and implement performance improvement plans where required
* Support leaders with difficult conversations and workplace management
* Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant people practices across all regions
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
* Oversee end-to-end recruitment across all divisions and international operations
* Develop recruitment strategies to attract high-performing talent
* Manage onboarding and induction programs to ensure strong employee integration
* Partner with leadership to identify future talent and capability requirements
* Support employer branding and employee value proposition initiatives
Leadership & Capability Development
* Coach and mentor leaders to strengthen management capability
* Identify training and development opportunities across the business
* Coordinate leadership development, succession planning, and career pathway initiatives
* Foster a culture of accountability, communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement aligned to Lauxes Grates 4 Business Values

HR Operations & Compliance
* Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, employment standards, policies, and procedures across Australia and New Zealand
* Support HR compliance requirements relating to USA employment operations
* Maintain and improve HR policies, frameworks, and systems
* Manage HR documentation, contracts, employee records, and reporting
* Support payroll-related HR administration in collaboration with finance and operations teams
* Monitor and mitigate workplace risk and compliance issues
Culture & Employee Experience
* Champion company culture and employee wellbeing initiatives
* Drive employee engagement activities and internal communication initiatives
* Support change management and organisational transformation projects
* Lead initiatives that strengthen employee connection across geographically dispersed teams
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture
The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the HR Business Partner will lead and manage all Human Resource functions across our Australia, New Zealand, and USA operations.

You will work closely with department leaders across Sales, Marketing & Operations to drive employee engagement, leadership capability, workforce planning, compliance, performance management, and organisational development initiatives.

About You
* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor
* Experience supporting multi-site or international operations highly regarded
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
* Exposure to New Zealand and/or USA employment environments advantageous
* Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and performance matters
* Strong leadership coaching and stakeholder management skills
* Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced environment
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
* Experience within manufacturing, construction, trade, retail, distribution, or fast-growth environments advantageous
