Job Description:
We seek an experienced Contract Manager to lead the design and continuous improvement of contracting processes for suppliers, contractors, and sole traders; embed legal and commercial safeguards.
You will oversee due diligence, risk screening, and classification; manage onboarding processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
Drive selected procurement transformation initiatives with strong project governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
E nsure all supplier engagements meet legislative, regulatory, and organisational compliance obligations; proactively manage and mitigate risks.
Translate policy into clear operational guidance and decision pathways, ensuring accountability and consistency across the organisation.
You will act as a trusted advisor to schools and business units, providing timely guidance and coaching on contracting and compliance matters.
Monitor onboarding and contracting performance, lead improvement initiatives, and deliver reporting dashboards to inform leadership.
Partner with key stakeholders to mature BCE's procurement function in line with Catholic social teaching values.
