We are seeking an experienced Non-Working Supervisor to lead a small crew of two operators undertaking scrap metal removal works across sites in the Pilbara region.
This is a FIFO position, suited to someone with strong supervisory skills, a safety-first mindset, and experience working in remote mining or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate a crew of two operators on scrap metal removal projects
* Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site and company procedures
* Liaise with site supervisors and clients to coordinate daily activities
* Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and ensure all safety documentation is completed
* Monitor job progress, productivity, and compliance with FIFO site requirements
* Act as the primary point of contact on site for operational matters
Requirements
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within scrap metal, mining, or industrial services is preferred
* Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety standards
* Ability to lead and manage a small crew effectively
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Valid FIFO medical (or ability to obtain)
* Relevant S26 mining supervisor ticket, or able to get asap
* Min 2 years FIFO experience
* Knowledge of scrap metal processing and removal preferred
