Summary
Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting Asia Pacific are looking for a commercially focused Digital Marketing and eCommerce Specialist, APAC to execute the TAA APAC digital marketing and eCommerce strategy .
Under general direction, develops marketing, merchandising, and creative strategies and tactics to promote and sell the organization's products and services through the Internet. Establishes, maintains and updates the ""Web experience"" from the viewpoint of the customer. Develops affiliated programs designed to increase exposure to and business from the target audience. Establishes and manages the relationships with search engines and portal sites that are strategically aligned with the e-commerce goals. Analyzes website traffic for trends and use patterns to identify and quantify customer habits and behavior.
Recommends modifications to website design to maximize traffic, customer satisfaction, capture and sales generation. Reviews customer feedback for website, recommends improvement and enhancements. Reviews competitive websites and collects marketing intelligence regarding competitive position. Manages the implementation of e-commerce marketing programs and analyzes their effectiveness. Requires in-depth knowledge and experience Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions Works independently; receives minimal guidance Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may direct the work of other staff members.
Responsibility:
eCommerce
1. Work towards, and achieve, annual revenue targets for APAC eCommerce store(s) sales
2. From 2024, Wolters Kluwer strategy is to growing ecommerce sales across a boarder range of product with the addition of subscription products. Involvement in this boardening of products will be included in the scope of the role
3. Over the next 3 years the 7 APAC eStores will be migrated to one APAC platform with four country stores for all products. The platform that has been selected is Adobe Commerce
4. Manage the eCommerce promotional strategy across four countries, ensuring new customer acquisition and sales conversion targets are met and continually optimized
5. Drive digital acquisition strategies with full-funnel marketing to grow an online presence, engagement, and conversion
6. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
7. Build, lead, and coordinate projects and stakeholders, including internal and external vendors
8. Ownership of eCommerce navigation driving cross/up-sell to increase conversion rate and Average Order Value
9. Partner with product managers for exclusive eCommerce value-add activity like product bundles and seasonal discount offers
10. Manage the eCommerce eDM vendor who creates and deploys the stores email marketing program
11. Develop comprehensive reporting across all eCommerce sites and digital marketing performance to inform the approach; this includes analytics to track sales trends, traffic, competitor activity, campaign performance, and identify opportunities for growth
Digital Marketing
12. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
13. Alongside product marketers, plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, retargeting and display advertising campaigns
14. Continued optimization of digital marketing channels to improve results and Return on Investment
15. Plan and manage allocated marketing budget to ensure expenditure is within budget and delivers ROI
16. Email marketing enhancement and optimisation for email KPI including open, CTR, conversion
Key measures
17. Ongoing incremental increase in traffic and sales via APAC eCommerce stores
18. Transaction and subscription sales targets met across APAC eCommerce stores
19. Deliver a consistent brand, tone, and user journey across all APAC digital platforms
20. Improve email marketing performance and conversion
21. Effective execution of advertising via digital 3rd party and WK-owned channels
About You:
22. Minimum 4-5 years' experience in a B2B Digital Marketing and eCommerce
23. Proven success in driving improved eCommerce sales across transactional and annual subscription products
24. Social media advertising
25. Proven success with SEM and display advertising with agency management and execution, google adwords experience
26. SEO and website optimisation experience is a must
27. Working knowledge of HTML, and advanced knowledge of eDM marketing best practice. Pardot experience highly regarded
28. Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
29. A confident communicator with ability to liaise with global internal and external contacts and act as an advocate for APAC
30. Demonstrated ability to manage several projects concurrently, with excellent time management
31. A self starter with ‘can-do’ attitude, strong project management and organizational skills highly regarded
32. Strong proficiency with Google Analytics and Commercial Reporting and ability to leverage data to recommend workflow redesigns & conversion optimizations.
33. 3rd party advertising channel selection, price negotiation, and booking is highly desirable
34. SFDC and data management experience highly desirable
