YOUR NEW ROLE
As a key pillar of their winning Commercial Law teamreporting to the Managing Partner, you will relish advising/transacting (majority) and litigating on a diverse multitude of intellectually stimulating, challenging and interesting commercial legal issues relating to but not limited to:
sale and purchase of businesses, directors/shareholders issues, joint ventures, licensing, franchising, commercial contracts, debt recovery/insolvency, leases, mortgages, intellectual property, employment law, defamation, construction law, trade practices/consumer law & trusts.
You will take ownership of your practice with full carriage of your own files & clients.
Subject to your performance/experience level, also opportunity to step into the Practice Leader role in the immediate/short/medium term.

WHO YOU ARE
We are interested in hearing from you if you:
* Are an admitted lawyer with minimum 6 years experience (or more-up to senior associate) in commercial law (transactional/advisory) plus some commercial litigation (preferable);
* have proven ability to highly autonomously manage your own commercial law files from start to finish;
* have strong legal research/drafting/negotiation skills+ client-service skills;
