Key Responsibilities:
* Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data from various sources.
* Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualisations to provide actionable insights.
* Explore and implement generative AI models for tasks such as synthetic data generation and process automation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and recommend data-driven and AI-powered solutions.
* Build and deploy scalable data pipelines and maintain model performance in production.
* Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
* Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
Requirements:
* Over 6 years of solid and proven experience as a Data Scientist, supported by a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
* Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R.
* Skilled in data manipulation libraries and machine learning frameworks.
* Extensive exposure to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and generative AI models and techniques.
* Experience working on Databricks (Desirable)
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with database technologies and query languages.
* Experience working with big data technologies.
* Familiar with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Matplotlib.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable business outcomes.
* Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
* Holds a degree in data science or a related field.
