Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the operations of an asbestos management company.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that all quality and technical procedures are maintained in regards to asbestos.
* Manage, develop and train a team of surveyors/analysts/staff.
* Run the operational side of the business including office and site staff, as well as clients on a daily basis.
* Update databases, produce management plans, quotations etc.
* Oversee administrative staff to ensure contract operations are coordinated with clients and carried out effectively.
* Liaise with clients/general public in a professional manner.
* Comply with all quality and technical procedures in regards to asbestos.
* Attend sites and carry out audits – report analytical findings.
* Produce accurate asbestos reports, method statements, risk assessments and associated site paperwork.
* Assist with tenders and quotations.
* Ensure projects are completed within specified time scales.
Requirements
* A strong background in asbestos management is essential.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills are required.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of UKAS accreditation processes.
