NW Mining & Civil are urgently seeking 2 experienced Welding Inspectors to join our client's team in the construction of a new mine site in far north QLD.
Based at a remote mine site construction project in far north QLD, you will be responsible for ensuring welds meet engineering specifications, industry codes and safety regulations. Applicants need to be able to work autonomously and safely, be able to follow instruction and be enthusiastic & reliable.
Starting ASAP, this work will run until late 2026. Roster is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
Pay rate is negotiable for the right person. All shifts are 12hr days.
Local Mt Isa applicants are preferred, but flights are available from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns. Transport from Mt Isa to the remote site will be provided by the client. Motel-style accommodation and meals are provided while on shift.
