We currently have permanent positions available at our Group home in Asquith. This role will be supporting 10 clients with complex health care and medical needs. As part of the daily tasks in the role you will also be working alongside Registered Nurses. At CPA we are committed to finding employees that will best meet the needs of our clients and the team that support them. For some roles at CPA, client choice and suitability to support particular clients' needs may be a relevant element for consideration in the recruitment process.
If you are currently studying to be a Registered Nurse this group home could be a good stepping stone into a Registered Nurse position upon completion of your Nursing Degree, pending available positions.
Your duties will include:
- Delivering personalised support in a group home setting by assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling
- Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
- Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
- Building positive relationships with our clients
- Transporting clients, using CPA minivan, if applicable
**Requirements**:
- Experience in disability, aged care or nursing
- NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or Full)
- Live locally to the locations mentioned above
- Triple COVID-19 vaccinated
