Family Support Practitioner Role
The role of a Family Support Practitioner is to provide intensive family support tailored to children, young people, and their families.
We seek passionate team members who will work closely with government and community stakeholders to deliver wrap-around support services.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Implementing evidence-based interventions, including parenting strategies and life skills coaching;
* Supporting families to access resources, education, and employment pathways;
* Conducting home visits and engaging in early intervention strategies for safety and wellbeing outcomes;
* Working with government and community stakeholders for wrap-around support.
Additionally, Family Support Practitioners must document case notes in line with legislative requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Working with Children Blue Card or being willing and eligible to obtain prior to commencement;
* Valid Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle;
* Relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services or related field;
* Experience working with young people/children and in related fields.
