About the Opportunity
We are seeking skilled Child Care Cooks for our childcare centres. These permanent, part‑time positions involve collaborating on, preparing, and cooking nutritious meals for children while following dietary guidelines and managing allergies. Positions are located at:
* Kids' Early Learning Kings Langley South (5 hrs / day, 5 days / week)
* Kids' Early Learning Mount Druitt (5 hrs / day, 5 days / week)
* Kids' Early Learning Rooty Hill (5 hrs / day, 5 days / week)
* Kids' Early Learning Seven Hills West (5.5 hrs / day, 5 days / week)
* Kids' Early Learning Dean Park (5 hrs / day, 5 days / week)
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the childcare team to plan menus and prepare meals.
* Prepare and cook healthy, nutritious food for children.
* Ensure compliance with food safety and dietary requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen facilities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Completion of an accredited course in safe food handling.
* Valid Working with Children Check clearance.
Desirable Skills
* Experience cooking for large numbers of young children.
* Certificate in commercial cookery and/or accredited courses in nutrition and menu planning.
* Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations.
* Computer literacy.
* Demonstrated commitment to customer service.
* Current class C driver's licence.
Remuneration & Benefits
