Nurse Roles in Renal Care
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work across well-established dialysis units in regional and remote hospitals & Units. These roles involve delivering haemodialysis treatments to patients with chronic and acute kidney disease within dedicated renal teams.
About the Job
Delivering high-quality patient care while working in a dynamic environment is a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for operating Fresenius and/or Baxter dialysis machines, monitoring patients' condition, and providing individualized care plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Dialysis treatment delivery: Safely administer haemodialysis treatments to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process.
* Patient assessment and monitoring: Continuously evaluate patients' health status, identify potential complications, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
* Clinical decision-making: Apply your expertise to make informed decisions about patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Current unrestricted AHPRA registration, minimum 2 years' recent renal/dialysis nursing experience.
* Skills: Proficient experience operating Fresenius and/or Baxter dialysis machines, strong clinical skills, and ability to work independently in remote settings.
