About the role
We are excited to be in search of a Store Manager for our upcoming new stores in Sydney. This is a rare opportunity to lead a luxury retail business.
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving the store's strategy and providing direction to the leadership and sales teams. You will ensure the store exceeds sales and profitability targets while delivering outstanding client experiences. You will lead, develop, and support staff to meet or exceed sales plans, focusing on client development and high-level service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
* Analyzing business performance and implementing focused action plans to improve results, leveraging client relationships, team performance, visual merchandising, product assortment, and in-store operations.
* Providing cohesive direction through morning briefings and goal setting.
* Driving daily feedback and coaching to foster a winning culture.
* Ensuring a seamless, luxurious client experience in-store, responding to feedback promptly.
* Developing client engagement plans to grow high-value and VIP clients through team efforts to build long-term relationships.
The ideal candidate will have :
* Minimum five years’ experience leading teams of at least 15 in retail or client-focused environments (e.g., hospitality, banking, events).
* Experience in sales generation and achieving sales targets.
* Experience working towards KPIs.
* Experience partnering with high-net-worth individuals in sales.
* Ability to inspire trust, integrity, fairness, and professionalism with clients and staff.
* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Flexibility to work various roles based on business needs, including on the sales floor and operations.
* Availability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* In-depth knowledge of precious metals and gemstones is highly advantageous.
