Our client, a globally recognised Fortune 500 SaaS organisation, is seeking a Global Mobility Specialist to join their high-performing Global Mobility team. This role plays a critical part in enabling the movement of top talent across regions and supporting a world-class talent acquisition and employee experience strategy.
This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced global mobility professional who understands the complexity of immigration, relocation, and international assignments across APJ, and who enjoys partnering closely with HR, Talent, and business leaders in a fast-paced, global environment.
You will act as the regional subject matter expert for APJ mobility, while collaborating with global counterparts across EMEA and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Global Mobility Leadership (APJ)
* Act as the primary point of contact for HR Business Partners, Talent Partners, and Hiring Managers on international relocations, immigration hires, and assignments across APJ.
* Advise stakeholders on immigration and mobility requirements to support hiring, retention, and workforce planning strategies.
* Provide cross-regional coverage and collaboration with global mobility counterparts, including EMEA.
Immigration, Relocation & Assignment Management
* Coordinate end-to-end case management for permanent transfers, relocations, and temporary assignments.
* Partner closely with external immigration counsel across APJ countries to manage cases, escalations, and policy improvements.
* Support global temporary assignment programs, overseeing communications and end-to-end delivery.
Policy, Process & Program Enablement
* Partner with global mobility program owners (immigration, tax, relocation) to ensure policies and processes align with regional needs and compliance requirements.
* Draft relocation agreements and international assignment letters in line with global policies.
* Manage the operational complexities of international assignments, including allowances, payroll tracking, year-end compensation accumulation, and reporting.
Stakeholder Education & Governance
* Document processes, develop resources, and deliver training for internal stakeholders.
* Create assignment cost projections for permanent and temporary mobility scenarios.
* Process global mobility-related invoices and support financial governance as required.
About You
* 5+ years' experience in an in-house Global Mobility role within a complex, multinational organisation.
* Strong expertise across APJ (including India) immigration, relocation, and international assignment management.
* Solid understanding of international HR, global compensation and benefits, and mobility compliance.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
* Highly organised with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Confident communicator with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent professional experience.
