We are seeking a keen, fit person to fill our Gardener / Maintenance officer role. This role will primarily be at our Sadadeen Campus, but will require working across all campuses
About the Role
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic College (OLSH) is a three-campus school in Alice Springs, serving students from Transition to Year 12. We are currently seeking a Gardening & Maintenance Officer to work primarily at our Sadadeen Campus (Year 9-12).
This hands-on role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. Full PPE—including uniforms and boots—will be provided.

* Bath Street – Transition to Year 4
* Traeger Campus – Years 5 to 8
* Sadadeen Campus – Years 9 to 12
Key Responsibilities
* General gardening: weeding, pruning, rubbish removal from garden beds
* Mow lawns, clean gutters and drains
* Maintain pot plants and check/repair irrigation
* Minor maintenance and painting
* Clean and replace bin liners
* Keep verandahs, stairs and paths clear of debris
* Clean air conditioning filters and remove mould
* Check and repair basic plumbing (toilets, taps)
* Liaise with external contractors and promote safe work practices
Essential Criteria
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Positive attitude and a good role model for students
* Current Driver’s Licence (LR licence or willingness to obtain)
* Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
