**Team Core Function/Role**:
The team is responsible for assessing land to be sold back to the government.

The role provides network planning leadership, guidance and expertise to deliver a range of multi-modal integrated network and place plans to ensure alignment of the business' policy, services and infrastructure to inform network improvement priorities.
The role provides transport planning advice and expertise to support the NSW government's vision and priorities and ensure alignment with the business' Blueprint outcomes.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the provision of evidence-based advice, analysis, recommendations and manage the preparation, review and finalisation of planning documents and deliverables across transport strategies, plans, studies, and business cases, aligned to a specific geographic area, integrated network or major project.
- Lead and manage multi-modal planning projects and reporting to ensure accurate progress updates, risks and issues are communicated with the project team and all relevant stakeholders
- Manage project teams of professional/technical staff (contractors, consultants and internal/external partners) to ensure the delivery of the planning projects are on time, on budget and good quality.
- Participate in communities of practice, committees and working groups.
- Drive collaboration with specialist teams within the matrix branch structure and across the business' divisions to ensure the best possible planning outcomes and lead, guide and mentor professional and technical resources in the Network & Place Planning to maintain best-practice and continuous improvement.
- Review planning raw data and looking at future use of land planning
