ALLFENIX is seeking a passionate and experienced Swimwear and Activewear Designer to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will drive the creative vision for our global activewear and swimwear collections, and other categories.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design & Development: Create seasonal and core collections from concept to product, working closely with garment techs to execute product designs
* Wholesale Relations: Collaborate with key wholesale partners to develop custom ranges and align designs with market trends. Must be confident to present ranges.
* Supplier & Production Management: Work with suppliers to ensure designs are executed with precision. Ensure accuracy of design notes and tech packs.
* Creative & Technical Skills: Utilize your expertise in graphic and textile design, as well as your knowledge of garment construction and fabrics.
* Project Management: Proactively manage multiple projects and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery within a fast-paced team environment.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven 3+ years design experience in apparel. Experience in activewear or swimwear is highly regarded.
* Strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
* An eye for detail and ability to interpret trends into commercial designs
* A proactive, collaborative team player who thrives on meeting tight deadlines
* Strong interpersonal and relationship skills to work across departments, with suppliers and buyers
