This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in the Financial Services Group (FSG), driving growth and managing client delivery across financial institutions and professions clients. You will be working closely with the Aon team to develop and implement strategies for continued exponential growth, leveraging the strong brand to generate activity.
The FSG team is responsible for broking strategy and placement of financial lines business across the financial institutions and professions clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Proactively managing a portfolio of financial institutions/professions clients, including strategic management of senior-level client relationships.
2. Delivering a client-centric approach to servicing clients, using a cross-solution line approach.
3. Maintaining strategic relationships with insurance carrier partners and negotiating risk transfer solutions based on individual client risk profiles.
4. Contributing to the strategic direction of Aon's Financial Institutions/Professions portfolio.
5. Monitoring and reviewing regulatory and case law developments, and participating in the production of client advisory white papers.
6. Participating in business development opportunities, including policy wording health-checks, technical and claims commentary in tenders, and involvement in new business presentations.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in key speaking opportunities at industry events to raise awareness of Aon's brand and capabilities in the Financial Institutions space.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. Extensive experience within the Financial Lines Insurance market, with a focus on risk identification and risk transfer for financial institutions/professions clients.
2. A strong understanding of a broad range of Financial Lines Insurance products and risk solutions, including PI, D&O, and Crime.
3. A high level of understanding of client profitability.
4. Excellent cross-selling abilities.
5. A keen entrepreneurial spirit and flair for business development.
6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7. Demonstrated success in managing team relationships and senior-level client relationships.
8. Qualifications in accordance with the Financial Services Reform Act (minimum Tier 1 Broking Compliance).
