Job Opportunity:
The role of Avionics Specialist requires support for 21J Design Services in close association with various groups.
* Develop and implement modifications, repairs, and technical data amendments for aircraft electrical and avionics systems.
* Conduct thorough investigations into defects, deficiencies, and faults reported on C27J aircraft avionics systems
* Under guidance, investigate, analyze, and develop effective engineering solutions to technical issues experienced during C-27J operations.
* Collaborate closely with other experienced engineering personnel to sustain and grow the C27J capability.
* Achieve competency, technical knowledge, and expertise on C-27J avionics systems.
* Support allied departments in providing TLS services to meet customer requirements.
* Gain a solid understanding of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR).
About You:
* Bachelor of Engineering (AQF Level 8) in Avionics, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics or a similar field.
* Graduate Membership of Engineers Australia or Membership of BPEQ.
* Aviation Experience, preferably in a design environment.
* Problem-solving and technical report writing skills.
* Computer-Aided Design experience/competency.
