These opportunities have been created to strengthen leadership coverage across key regions, ensuring consistency, performance and support at store level.
About the role
This is a senior Floating Store Manager opportunity suited to an experienced retail leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments. You will provide leadership coverage across stores, stepping in to cover leave, support peak trading periods and stabilise performance when required.
Importantly, this is also a succession-focused role. Floating Store Managers are first in line for permanent Store Manager opportunities, including new store openings or vacancies within the region.
There are two opportunities available:
* One supporting high-volume retail stores across Adelaide's northern suburbs, ideally suited to leaders with tools, trade or strong sales experience
* One supporting high-volume supermarket-style retail across the Adelaide Hills region
You will be aligned to the environment that best suits your background and strengths.
Both roles operate on a rotating roster and are supported by strong regional leadership and on-the-ground SA resources.
What you will do
* Provide Store Manager coverage across the region, including leave and peak periods
* Take ownership of store performance, including sales, labour, stock and standards
* Lead, coach and motivate large retail teams through change and growth
* Manage budgets and P&L, driving commercial outcomes
* Step into underperforming or high-demand stores to provide leadership stability
What you will bring
* Proven experience in high-volume retail or supermarket leadership
* Strong commercial acumen with P&L accountability
* Confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence quickly
* Flexibility to work across multiple locations as required
* Tool, trade or hardware retail experience highly regarded for one pathway
