Casuals receive an additional 25% loading allowance on top of the base salary $86,439 - $92,795 pa pro rata and penalty rates may apply. Secure Care’s vision is it will consistently practise a high level of therapeutic care and provide children and staff with a safe place to connect, reflect and heal. Want to make a difference? You will! The Kath French Secure Care Centre (Secure Care) provides short-term intensive therapeutic care to vulnerable children who are presenting with high-risk behaviours. Part of this care occurs in a secured facility, and we are in the middle of designing a service that allows us to extend this intensive therapeutic support into a community-based service. The team is committed to providing children with safe, trauma informed, therapeutic care during their stay. As a Secure Care Worker you will have an opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team that strive to make a real difference in the lives of children every day. You will work a rotating roster, including weekends and night shifts, and a as part of a small, supportive and compassionate team that are supported by specialist education, psychology and social work staff who prioritise self-care and wellbeing. Your work is guided by the Sanctuary Model to ensure the consistent delivery of trauma informed care to young people in Secure Care, which includes the Seven Commitments for creating safe environments.
