Operations assistant - food production and warehousing (newcastle)

Join our afternoon Operations Team at our Newcastle depot.

Hours: 2:00pm-9:00pm. Great for students or anyone who wants their mornings free.

Shifts: 3-6 hours, 3-4 shifts per week, Sunday-Friday (Wednesdays essential).

Hours per week: 9-24. Flexibility and reliability are big pluses.

Training: Fully provided.

Please note: You'll handle a range of food products (meat, dairy, gluten). Pay rate listed is for 21+, those under 21 will receive lower rates.

What you'll do

• Food production line tasks
• Pick packing in cool room/warehouse
• Stock rotation & quality checks
• Loading/unloading
• Cleaning vehicles/facility
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently

What you need

• Able to lift 15-25kg frequently
• Comfortable working in cool rooms (below 5°C)
• Strong attitude, reliable, team-focused
• Can work under pressure and unsupervised
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, etc.
• Can commit to 3-4 shifts per week between 2pm-9pm, and compulsory attendance on Wednesdays
• Good communication
