About the Role
JBS Pork Australia is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Customer Service Assistant to join our team at the Port Melbourne Head Office.
Reporting to the Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include managing order entry, resolving customer queries, investigating claims, and maintaining accurate customer records.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the supply chain team and support the broader customer management function, ensuring it's easy for our customers to do business with us.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Deliver exceptional customer service by managing orders, queries, and issue resolution.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships across retail and domestic customers.
3. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all customer transactions and data management.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely solutions and improve customer experience.
5. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
6. Proven experience in a similar office role, ideally within food or agri-business.
7. Familiarity with ERP systems and multiple customer channels.
8. Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed to delivering on promises.
9. Thrive in a collaborative environment and believe strong customer engagement leads to sustainable results.
10. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
11. Ability to troubleshoot, multi-task, and respond proactively, with basic selling knowledge and brand awareness.
