We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic and high-performing kitchen team. Working alongside talented culinary professionals, you will play a key role in creating innovative, beautifully executed dishes that reflect our commitment to quality, creativity, and memorable guest experiences.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of yoursection, ensuring the consistent delivery of exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards.
* Prepare and execute menu items with precision, creativity, and attention to detail, in line with Marmelo's culinary vision and brand standards.
* Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and wider culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and an outstanding guest experience.
* Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and workplace organisation within a fast-paced professional kitchen environment.
* Support the development and mentoring of junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and excellence.
* Assist with inventory management, stock control, ordering processes, and waste minimisation initiatives to support operational efficiency and cost management.
* Contribute ideas and expertise to menu development, continuous improvement initiatives, and the ongoing evolution of the culinary offering.
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, or a high-performing Demi Chef ready to take the next step in their culinary career.
* A genuine passion for food, with a strong commitment to quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
* A collaborative and professional approach, combined with creativity and a desire to contribute to an innovative culinary offering.
* Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen best practices.
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding cuisine.
