Previous experience working in a Radiology practice environment would be highly desirable experience an advantage.
Responsibilities
Reception, welcoming and processing patients
Scheduling and managing patient appointments
Following up medical information with referrers, allied health and third parties
Managing telephone enquiries
Supporting the Radiologists
Working with Radiographers/ Sonographers & Radiologists
Fast accurate medical typing
Skills and experience
High standards of personal presentation.
A professional, patient and courteous manner
Excellent telephone manner
Strong communication skills – written and verbal
Exceptional attention to detail
Knowledge of the Medical Benefits Schedule
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong multitasking and prioritisation capabilities
Fast accurate medical typing - optional
