**The Role**
- APS 3 Records Officers work onsite contributing to a national integrated service delivery culture and the greater Defence digital transformation.
- The APS 3 Records Officer will undertake daily administrative tasks including but not limited to digitization of Ex and current Australian Defence Force (ADF) members records, providing Certificates of Service (CoS) and general archiving and repository functions in line with the IAU's key expected results (KERs)
- APS 3 Records Officers will be required to undertake other straightforward administrative tasks with initial guidance and training documentation provided and will actively engage in personal and professional development.

The role will work as part of a team in:
- Scanning archive records to preservation standards using a range of equipment.
- Performing straightforward information and records management activities in accordance with relevant legislative and Defence policies and procedures.
- Contributing to the maintenance of sensitive information in accordance with departmental requirements.
- Working collaboratively and operating as an effective team member.
Successful applicants will possess high levels of accuracy and a strong attention detail in process-driven procedures, sound communication skills both verbal and written, be confident and competent in stakeholder engagement while adapting to a constantly changing setting.
