CE Group is expanding our delivery footprint in Central Queensland and we're mobilising
20 x Industrial Electricians
for a major mine redevelopment project in Jan 2026.
This is a full new-plant installation including a washplant, tailings processing facility, switchrooms and mine services electrical infrastructure.

The Role
You'll form part of CE Group's electrical delivery team working across all stages of construction for the new washplant and associated facilities. Work will include installation, cable support systems, HV/LV works, switchrooms, plant services, testing and commissioning support.
You'll be supported by an experienced onsite leadership group including PM, CM, Supervisors and HSEQ.
* Two weeks on, one week off roster - 11 hour days
* DIDO / FIFO options available
Key Duties
* Install, terminate and test HV/LV electrical systems
* Install cable tray, ladder, conduits and cable support infrastructure
* Fit-off motors, pumps, MCCs, switchgear and OEM plant packages
* Assist with switchroom installation and commissioning preparation
* Read and interpret drawings, plans and engineering documentation
* Perform isolations, LOTO and follow all mine electrical safety procedures
* Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and CE Group's broader site team
About You
* Qualified Electrician (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic) with industrial or heavy-construction experience
* Working at Heights and Confined Space Training preferred
* Coal Board medical or MMQ Medical required (Minerals & Quarrying)
* Background in mining, minerals processing, heavy industrial, BESS, power stations or plant installation preferred
* Strong understanding of electrical safety, isolations and compliance
* Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced site environment
* Ability to work effectively within a large construction crew
