About this role
You will provide veterinary care, manage diseases, and ensure biosecurity. This role involves hands-on care, research-based solutions, and working with internal and external teams to maintain flock health and improve production.
Key Responsibilities are (but not limited to):
- Collaborate with farm managers and specialists to optimize flock health, welfare, and production outcomes.
- Diagnose, treat, and prevent health issues, manage disease outbreaks, and implement biosecurity measures.
- Manage resources, budgets, and health records while applying veterinary advancements and leading emergency protocols.
- Train and mentor staff on health management, disease identification, and biosecurity practices.
