Over the past 55 years, we've grown into Australia's leading packaging company with a national footprint of production and warehouse facilities located in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Townsville and Perth.About the RoleWorking within our Flexibles department, you will be responsible for ensuring a continuous supply of plastic products that meet our valued client's specifications and quality standards.You will be involved in all aspects of the Plastics production processes, including:Operating modern automated plastics extrusion, conversion and recycling machineryManufacturing finished goods including plastic bags and stretch filmCarrying out basic maintenance on machinesCompleting process control documentation accurately and diligentlyThe roster consists of 12-hour shifts where you work 4 days on and then have 4 days off rotating across a 24-hour 7-day roster.
The shifts rotate between day shifts of 5:45 am to 5:45 pm and night shifts of 5:45 pm to 5:45 am.About youWe are looking for a motivated and dependable individual with a desire to learn.2-3 years' experience in running manufacturing machinesA can-do attitude and be a great team playerEffective problem-solving skillsA strong mechanical aptitude, safety and quality-focusedA High attention to detailExperience within the plastics industry in blown film and exposure to HACCP (desirable but not mandatory)BenefitsBirthday Leave – Be paid to spend time with family, friends or with oneself doing the things you love on your birthday.Access to a qualified Employee Assistance Program.
