The business delivers new and replacement roofing, guttering and architectural steel cladding across metropolitan Adelaide, working with both residential builders and homeowners.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join our growing residential team. This role is focused on hands-on roof plumbing work across new home builds and residential projects.
You will be involved in all aspects of metal roofing and associated roof plumbing works, working as part of a site-based team and supporting the delivery of projects to required quality, safety and time standards.
Key responsibilities
* Installation of metal roofing systems
* Installation of gutters, downpipes, fascias, cappings and flashings
* Installation of wall cladding and architectural metal elements
* Installation of roof sisalation, roof blanket and associated materials
* Installation and fixing of metal roof purlins
* Working safely at heights and in accordance with WHS requirements
* Use and operation of company vehicles, tools and equipment
* Reading and interpreting plans and job documentation
* Maintaining clean and safe work sites
* Liaising with supervisors, team members and other site stakeholders
* Identifying and reporting site issues as required
* Supporting and assisting apprentice roofers as directed
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Demonstrated experience as a Roof Plumber in residential construction
* Confidence and competence working safely at heights
* Construction White Card
* Driver's licence and reliable transport
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and a professional approach on site
Desirable (but not essential)
* Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)
* First Aid certification
