HR BP required for Government organisation, this role can be based in either Ballarat or Geelong
Your new role
Partnering with a specific portfolio, you will provide expert advice to managers and staff on human resource matters. It plays a critical role in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, workforce planning, IR, ER, performance management, change management and employee relations. Responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with the organisation's leaders to understand stakeholder issues and provide advice and coaching in relation to effective people management.
- Providing employee relations and case management services to senior managers.
- Contributing to branch strategic planning and mentoring and coaching HR Consultants and Senior HR Consultants.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business Management.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to develop project plans and successfully manage the implementation of multiple projects including major change initiatives, anticipates, plans and addresses culturally diverse and organisational barriers of complexity within timelines and budget
- an aptitude for flexible and innovative problem solving to develop practical HR sustainable solutions in a competing work environment.
- Experience in case managing a range of human resource issues and other matters pertaining to a contemporary development in human resource management.
