As our People Advisor, you will support business leaders and the People & Culture team to drive engagement, capability, and business performance. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, using your HR expertise and business insight to deliver high-quality, proactive people solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a key role in implementing People & Culture initiatives, influencing outcomes, building capability, and help to create an exceptional team member experience. Please note that this is a 12-month secondment opportunity. A few of your responsibilities Provide leaders with generalist HR advice across performance, engagement, remuneration, and workforce matters Support on all employee lifecycle processes and ensure alignment with workplace legislation, policies, and best practice Contribute to the implementation of People & Culture initiatives and projects, using change management approaches to drive adoption and results Analyse people data and provide insights to inform decision-making and support delivery of the People Plan Support position management activities, including organisational structure updates, Position Description reviews, and workforce planning alignment What are we looking for Proven experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist Qualifications in Human Resources (highly regarded), with sound knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations, and Fair Work frameworks Strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our culture at The Star.
