Materials Coordinator Job Description
The Materials Coordinator plays a vital role in the success of our operations. This individual is responsible for planning, procurement, and management of materials, tools, and equipment used in gas gathering projects.
* Work closely with operations, engineering, and procurement teams to forecast material needs and ensure timely delivery.
* Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems.
* Manage warehouse operations and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
* Conduct periodic cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
* Ensure timely delivery of materials to field locations and contractors.
* Track material usage against job orders, projects, or work orders.
* Coordinate logistics for material transfers between field sites or contractors.
* Support the return of unused or surplus materials.
* Assist in vendor communication, expediting, and resolving issues with deliveries or material quality.
This is an entry-level full-time position within the Purchasing and Supply Chain department of the Oil and Gas industry.
