Overview
Tesla is hiring an Apprentice Vehicle Technician for the 2026 intake. This program offers entry into the fast-growing world of electric vehicle (EV) servicing with comprehensive training while completing a Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology.
What you'll do
* Support the Tesla Service Team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
* Perform basic vehicle servicing, inspections and maintenance under supervision
* Learn to use diagnostics tools and automotive software systems
* Undertake a nationally recognised Certificate III in Automotive Electric Vehicle Technology
* Complete Tesla specific training through our global learning platform
* Maintain the workshop, ensure vehicle cleanliness, and assist in daily operations
* Build knowledge of all Tesla models, service procedures and safety standards
What you'll bring
* Completed Year 12 education
* Full Australian work rights
* Eligible to enrol with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
* A valid driver's licence
* Passion for automotive technology, mechanics, and electric vehicles
* Strong communication, time management and attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently and adapt to changing priorities
