About the Role
This Internal Sales Representative role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, service-driven organisation at the centre of Australia's steel supply chain. You'll act as a key point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, preparing accurate quotes, processing orders, and providing technical product information where needed. Working closely with external sales, production, and logistics teams, you'll ensure each order is delivered on time and to specification.
We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused sales professional with experience in steel or related industries, who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering top-tier service in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
* Taking customer enquiries over phone and email and giving accurate information on pricing, products, and lead times
* Preparing quotes and processing orders promptly and correctly
* Building rapport with customers and keeping relationships strong
* Working with internal teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any order issues
* Monitoring stock availability and advising clients accordingly
* Supporting the external sales team with follow-ups and customer communication
* Keeping CRM records up to date and accurate
* Contributing to a team culture built on service, reliability, and professionalism
Salary and Benefits
Base $75k - $85k | Super 12% | Bonus
