Our department is seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer to deliver wellbeing programs and resources to students and school communities in the Northern Rivers, North Coast and Mid-North Coast of New South Wales. This temporary role will involve working across multiple school settings to provide evidence-based support to student wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver evidence-based wellbeing programs to students, staff, and parents
* Provide support to students to increase resilience and facilitate their recovery from adverse events
* Work across multiple school settings to deliver wellbeing programs and resources
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* Diploma or higher qualification in social work, youth work, welfare, or related field
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
* Valid and current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* Full car driver's license
