A leading infrastructure delivery business is seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead its engineering function across a portfolio of design and construct (D&C) projects in the water and civil sectors.
This executive role will focus on technical leadership, engineering performance systems, and high-level integration between design and delivery teams. You'll be empowered to embed scalable processes and shape engineering strategy to support a growing national delivery model.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set strategic direction for engineering across major D&C infrastructure projects
* Lead technical performance, governance, QA/QC and constructability frameworks
* Develop and mentor a national team of senior engineers and discipline leads
* Partner with executive leaders across commercial, delivery, and client-facing roles
* Champion continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience (10+ years) in D&C infrastructure – ideally water, civil, or utilities
* Proven leadership of internal engineering teams and cross-discipline collaboration
* Strong capability in technical governance, constructability, and risk management
* Portfolio-level oversight of multiple concurrent projects or programs
* CPEng, RPEQ, or Chartered Engineer status strongly preferred
