About the Role
In this role, you'll partner closely with clients, hotel departments, and external suppliers to coordinate conferences, meetings, weddings, social functions, and special events. You'll manage event logistics from confirmation through to execution, ensuring every detail is delivered seamlessly. This position suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, is confident with client relationships, and enjoys bringing ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including proposals, function sheets, run-of-day logistics, and billing
* Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions
* Liaise with internal departments such as Food & Beverage, Banquets, Housekeeping, and Front Office to ensure accurate briefing and delivery
* Maintain accurate event documentation, timelines, contracts, and billing in line with hotel processes
* Conduct onsite inspections, client meetings, and post-event follow-ups
* Support revenue and sales targets through upselling opportunities
* Ensure all events comply with hotel standards, safety requirements, and brand expectations
About You
We're looking for someone who brings professionalism, energy, and pride to their work. You will ideally have:
* Experience in event planning or coordination, ideally in hotels or hospitality
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Confidence communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple events at once
* A collaborative mindset and a genuine commitment to guest service
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster where required, including occasional weekends or evenings based on business needs
