Job Description
As a technical leader at NCS, you will be empowered to build and cultivate a high-performing development team. We believe that great leaders grow great talent, so a core part of your role will be to mentor your developers, acting as their primary source for expert guidance on Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Portals. You will be entrusted to review their completed work, providing the constructive feedback that fosters growth, while strategically allocating user stories and bugs to maximise your team's effectiveness and prevent technical conflicts. This is a role where your leadership directly contributes to our culture of continuous improvement and shared success.
Beyond day-to-day mentorship, you will serve as the technical architect for the project, shaping the "how" behind our client's vision. At NCS, we value deep technical expertise, and you will be central to translating business requirements into a clear and actionable development strategy. You will critically review user stories from a technical feasibility perspective and write the detailed tasks that form the roadmap for your team. This strategic oversight ensures our solutions are not only well-managed but are also intelligently designed and robustly built from the ground up.
Your influence will extend across the entire project, championing quality and collaboration at every stage. You will represent the development team in high-level discussions with key stakeholders, including the Department and other service providers, ensuring technical solutions align with broader project goals. A key part of your legacy on this project will be leading the creation of our 'As built' documentation. At NCS, we see this as more than just a task; it's about defining the standard of excellence and delivering a lasting, high-quality solution that you and your team can be proud of for years to come.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Senior or Lead Developer capacity, with a strong track record of mentoring a technical team.
* Expert-level knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem, specifically Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Portals.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed code reviews and manage a development workflow within an Agile or similar environment.
* Exceptional skill in translating functional requirements and user stories into detailed technical specifications and tasks.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as the bridge between the development team and other project stakeholders.
