*What You'll Do:*
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll focus on developing strong customer relationships and supporting with all aspects in our Fertiliser Depot. Tasks are varied because no two days are the same in a rural retail store and you will work across a variety of activities including:
* Loading and unloading trucks
* Fertiliser blending
* Filling bulka bags, decanting liquid fertiliser, preparing for delivery
* Assisting with stock control, communication with branch staff, contractors and customer in relation to general operational requirements
* Basic maintenance of plant and equipment
* Complying with daily/weekly/monthly safety and maintenance checklists
* During peak season, this is a fast-paced position which requires some minor flexibility in hours
*What You'll Bring:*
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment. You'll have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise. In addition, you will demonstrate:
* A passion for customer service as well as a positive approach and the determination to succeed
* Strong awareness of safety of yourself and others
* Current drivers' licence, MR licence and ideally a HR licence or willingness to obtain one
* Ability to lift and move up to 25kgs
* Ability to work unsupervised & independently
* You will be keen to learn all aspects of retail operations and sales, and be confident using computer software systems such as SAP
* Meet physical and medical requirements as part of the pre-employment medical screening process
* A clean and current drivers license is required, you will also be required to have an MR license, HR is preferable
