* The Acute Care Team providestriage,assessmentand brief interventionstoassistconsumers experiencing difficulties due to acutemental health concerns. Following triage, the mostappropriatecaretype isdeterminedincludinginpatient,communityor crisis interventions.
* The purpose of the role is to providehighlevelclinical Mental Health and psychologyassessment,counsellingand brief intervention to mental healthconsumers within a multidisciplinary community mental health Acute CareTeam. The positionis responsible forproviding consultancy,education and supportive or therapeutic programs for individuals andspecific target groups. The position utilises broad therapeutic knowledgeand clinical skills to independently manage a complex case load includingthe ability to effectively analyse and make clinical decisions to delivera range of evidence based therapeutic interventions.
