The opportunity
Gladstone Refrigeration & Air-conditioning is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join their team in Gladstone, QLD. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key responsibilities
* Assist qualified electricians in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
* Undertake hands-on training to develop your practical skills in electrical work
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
* Participate in on-the-job training and complete necessary formal education to obtain your electrical certification
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
What we're looking for
* A 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice to join our onsite industrial teams at a local plant
* A desire to pursue a career as an electrician and a passion for the electrical trade
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
* The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* A commitment to safety and a willingness to learn
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport essential
