In line with our continued growth, we are seeking a Carpenter to join the team.
What you'll be doing
Perform first-fix carpentry, including framing of walls, floors, and roofs, setting out, sub-flooring, and structural alterations in existing buildings.
Read, interpret, and accurately execute work based on construction drawings, architectural plans, and specifications.
Execute second-fix and detailed finishing carpentry, including the installation of doors, windows, trim, skirting, architraves, and cabinetry/joinery.
Complete detailed fit-outs for kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces.
Undertake repair and restoration work on existing timber structures and elements.
Assisting with basic maintenance tasks as required.
Working with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery.
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work completed.
What we're looking for
Full Carpentry License.
Builders License or willingness to obtain will be highly regarded.
Minimum of 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience, with significant exposure to residential and/or commercial renovations.
Ownership of a comprehensive set of carpentry hand and power tools.
Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Construction white card, unrestricted driver's licence and valid working rights are essential.
