Everybody knows a JJ’s Truck when they see one. .. our iconic green and gold fleet head out rain or shine for collections in your area.

But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!

We do more than collect the bin from your street we also; convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more.. .

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a JJ’s Customer Service Officer, you will support our depot operations in the Melbourne region; based at our Dandenong South office.

Join a great team that prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service to our large commercial customer base.

You will have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. Have excellent problem solving and time management, plus demonstrated high level customer service skills.

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a based in the office; Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide high-level, professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

* Efficiently manage and action inbound customer calls and enquiries in a timely manner

* Processing of documentation/data entry accurately and efficiently within required timeframes

* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up, escalations and preparing outgoing correspondence as required

* Working closely with Operations, Sales, Administration and Management to ensure the flow of information

* Other duties as requested

ABOUT YOU

* Customer Service / Call Centre experience is essential

* Experience in a similar role – including high-volume customer support

* Excellent data entry skills and an eye for detail

* Able to work well within a team and autonomously

* Experience in transport, logistics or service industry - highly regarded but not essential

* Want to be part of a culture of learning and continuous improvement

* Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential service industry
