ACRRM is seeking a Senior Business Analyst within its Digital, Technology and Information business unit to support the delivery of strategic initiatives, business improvements, and technology-enabled change across the organisation.
Position Overview
ACRRM is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, operational initiatives, and system enhancements. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, project delivery teams, and technology teams to identify business needs, analyse processes, define requirements, and support the successful delivery of business and technology solutions.
As a key contributor within ACRRM's Digital, Technology and Information business unit, the Senior Business Analyst will play an important role in bridging the gap between business operations and project delivery. The role will support business process improvement, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, solution design, testing, and implementation activities to help ensure initiatives are aligned to organisational priorities and deliver measurable business value.
Key Duties Include
* Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and business priorities.
* Analyse business processes, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
* Support business units in articulating requirements and defining fit‐for‐purpose solutions.
* Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to gather and refine business requirements.
* Translate business needs into clear functional and non‐functional requirements, user stories, process maps, and supporting documentation.
* Produce high‐quality project artefacts including business cases, process flows, requirement specifications, and stakeholder documentation.
* Analyse and document current and future state business processes.
* Work closely with Project Managers and delivery teams to support project planning, scope definition, and implementation activities.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, and maintain transparent communication throughout delivery activities.
* Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test coordination, defect management, and validation of business outcomes.
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in Business Analysis roles, including experience working within project or PMO environments.
* Proven experience delivering business and technology‐focused initiatives.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
* Experience in business process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving capability with attention to detail.
* Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and related business analysis tools.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‐paced environment.
* Experience in healthcare, education, membership, or not‐for‐profit sectors.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
* Business Analysis certifications (e.g. CBAP, BABOK) or Agile certifications.
* Familiarity with project delivery and change management frameworks.
