This is a newly created role with Medium Rare in partnership with David Jones, Amplify.
David Jones Amplify is Australia's first luxury retail media network with a full-service media and marketing proposition designed to help non-supplier brands connect with premium, purchase-ready consumers both in-store and online.
David Jones is leading the market in securing non-supplier ad revenue.
We are seeking a highly creative, strategic and motivated professional with experience in retail or owned media networks, new business (direct and independent agency), sales partnerships and brands to reach a new tier of success.
You will support the National Sales and Partnerships Director and be key to the growth and expansion of non-supplier brands within David Jones, Amplify.
You will be responsible for selling, creating and implementing experience-led campaigns that drive full-funnel shopper engagement, enhance the customer experience and drive return on investment for advertisers.
You'll build strong relationships with experiential third-party providers and agency partners in evolving our experience-led solutions, such as visual merchandising hot spots and storefront windows.
You'll be accountable for managing your portfolio with commercial focus, strategic thinking and solid execution aligned to David Jones Amplify priorities.
Responsibilities
Assist in driving revenue growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities within retail media.
Build and secure creative media solutions that bring a brand to life in the world of David Jones, Amplify.
Drive revenue growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities.
Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of retail media campaigns.
Implement strategies to improve the sell-through of production-heavy channels.
Support the development of preferred supplier relationships to oversee logistics and execution of pop-up retail media campaigns.
Contribute to the review and optimisation of media inventory and packaging strategies.
Ensure efficient campaign delivery and client satisfaction.
Who are you?
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for retail media and campaign management.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record in managing successful media campaigns.
You are detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Your customer-centric approach ensures that challenges are addressed promptly to maintain client satisfaction and project momentum.
Proven experience in media sales, retail marketing, shopping centre or category/partnerships roles within luxury, retail or media/experiential agency environments – minimum 3 years.
Strong understanding of media channel planning, inventory and commercialisation management strategies.
A creative thinker who can piece together a brand's attributes into an exceptional media plan that brings the brand to life.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in using CRM and reporting tools to manage pipelines, track campaign performance and inform sales strategy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
